Curriculum & assessment diagnostic sprint

A short and focused 2-4 weeks online trajectory in which I help programmes regain clarity when curriculum and assessment no longer align in practice. In a 2–4 week sprint, I work with your team to identify where things break down and what to fix first. Not another report that sits on a shelf, but practical steps to get teaching and assessment working again.

This is for you when:

  • you have just implemented a new curriculum and consistency is not yet working in practice

  • teachers assess differently and there is no shared understanding of quality

  • students are unclear about what actually counts and how to succeed in the programme

  • portfolio or programme-based assessment is becoming difficult to manage

  • or accreditation pressure is exposing inconsistencies in curriculum and assessment design

Most programmes reach out when they realise the curriculum looks coherent on paper, but doesn’t work in day-to-day teaching and assessment and want to leave with a clear set of actions they can immediately use to bring back coherence, consistency and direction in their programme.

Inge is very knowledgeable and inspiring when it comes to new developments in assessment and learning. She systematically analyzes where the most significant improvements can be made in a study programme or curriculum regarding assessment quality, and she sees them through. The effective and people-oriented way in which she involves colleagues in this process is impressive.

Inge is a positive force for higher education, and I give her my highest recommendation.

  • Independent review of curriculum and assessment materials

  • 1 focused working session with selected representatives (3 hours, max 4–5 people)

  • Clear next steps for what needs attention first and how to move forward

  • Final session translating findings into clear next steps for the team (1.5 hours)

Not sure if a diagnostic sprint is the right next step?

Some programmes know something isn't working, but are unsure whether they need a diagnostic sprint, a larger transformation trajectory, or simply an external perspective.
